Music Therapy Research

Do you have prostate cancer?
Interested in music or research?

Tenovus Cancer Care and the Royal College of Music have teamed up for an exciting research project called Sing with Us looking at how singing in choirs can affect mental health, wellbeing, quality of life, social support, stress hormone levels and immune activity in people affected by cancer. They are currently looking for:

  • People who have prostate cancer;
  • Staff who work with cancer patients;
  • Carers who look after people who have prostate cancer (formally or informally); and
  • Bereaved people who have lost someone to prostate cancer.

You can either participate from your own home (no singing required) or join a free choir!
